At SeattleNTC we have options for difficult to treat mental health conditions. We offer TMS, ECT, and esketamine for moderate to severe treatment-resistant major depressive disorder. ECT is also highly effective for catatonia, bipolar depression and bipolar mania, and other conditions such as psychosis.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is generally used to treat patients who are currently struggling with significant depressive symptoms and who have not responded to several treatments such as oral medication or psychotherapy. We offer TMS for depression at all our locations (Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Bellingham, & Kitsap). TMS can also be used to treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in patients who have symptoms which have not improved despite multiple trials with medication and/or psychotherapy. We offer TMS for OCD at our Seattle location.
While TMS can be used “off label” (not FDA approved) to treat other conditions, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, these treatments are generally not covered by insurance. If you are interested in off-label treatments for TMS, or have other questions about treatments such as esketamine or ECT, please fill out the form below and let us know a little bit more about you and how we can help with your care.
SeattleNTC accepts most insurance plans. Criteria for coverage of different treatments vary from plan to plan. If you are unsure about your insurance coverage for esketamine, ECT, or other treatments, please contact your insurance carrier directly.
